lyrics

Alberta Truck stop diner
waitress stares out at the road
Nothing for miles
But wind and wheat
The prairie skies
Her northern home

Homemade sign reads
Bryan adams tickets to be sold
120 for the concert includes dinner and bus fare there and home

And you sang
Oh canada
A Beauty to behold
Roll on prairies roll on prairies
The secrets you have shown

And you sang
Oh canada
A Beauty to be held
Roll on prairies roll on prairies
The secrets you could tell

It's linear to think above the mountains there could be no grain
When A sphere it has no lines no guides
No boundaries to contain
Where once was ice
Now cattle graze in rolling golden hills
Where once was sea there's Yukon snow and frozen wolf pack trails

And you sang
Oh canada
your secrets to behold
Roll on prairies roll on prairies
The beauty you have shown

And you sang
Oh canada
A Beauty to be held
Roll on prairies roll on prairies
The secrets you could tell
